31 Day Challenge Day 22: Inspired by a Song

Hey everyone! So close to the end of this challenge, and I had a really hard time picking a song for today's inspiration. I have soo many I truly couldn't decided one, until I remembered a song that I've been hearing constantly. It's such an inspirational song and the singer is becoming my new fave.

For today's inspiration is based on the new hit song called "All About That Bass" by Meghan Tranior. The video was super cute and funny all at the same time. I really loved, not just the message, for the colors used in the video.

I for one was inspired by the colors of fabric she was laying on, and her beautiful outfit she wore. The color combination worked so well all together. I just knew it would be perfect for a nail art design. For the base, I applied one coat of Madam Glam Snow White for the watercolors. This helps the colors to stand out. Once the polish was completely dry, I began the water coloring process.

There are so many different methods to do this design, but it's all the same. I added the shades on a aluminum foil, then added a drop or two of acetone on top. Using a oval brush to mix together the mixtures. Then added a few splotches on the base. I used Bonita Salon's Spring Violet, Pear Me Up, Creaaamson, This Beach Is Bombay and Zoya Shelby.

Now on the ring finger I applied two coats of  Bonita Salon Frosty, then applied a coat of top coat. Once the polish was completely dry, I then added stripping tape forming a v-shape, and applied Zoya Godiva. Lastly, I sealed the design with H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! Overall I really loved how these came out! The color combination were my absolute fave.    **Products were provided for honest review.
