Hiya Readers! It's time for my Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: G for Glitter. Now who doesn't love glitter?! I know I do! I can make all my nail post based on glitter, they just make me happy!
Anyway, I remember looking through a magazine and saw Rimmel advertising model with this bordered half-moon nails. Even though it was in black & white, I wanted to try something different with it. So I decided to try a glitter based border & half-moon. Cute isn't it?!
Once the polish is dried, with a nail art brush, create a half-moon using Floss Gloss Stun. The best glitter ever!! Well not quite the best best, but it's sure is in that category. Look at the photo's for yourself, can't you see the shimmery affect. It is definitely better in person, a must have!
Using the same brush, create the borders around the nail. I did retouch a few times, therefore the base was no longer visible. Lastly, seal the design with one coat thin Out the Door Top Coat.
This is one design I truly believe any beginner can do. It's easy and simply cute. First for the base, I applied two coats of Essie's Turquoise & Caicos. I really love this color. It is a smooth, creamy blue green creme. Not quite as creme for the first coat, by the second is just perfect. No matter what season it is a perfect color for any occasion.
