Salon Perfect | Nail Polishes Swatches & Review + Nail Art

Hello everyone! Summer is not over yet and some are already preparing for school (I know I am, preparing my classroom). For today's post I have a review from a new-to-me brand Salon Perfect Summery nail polishes. Now I've seen and heard of this brand before, which are sold exclusively at Walmart, I was pretty excited to have the chance to try them myself.
So for this review Salon Perfect sent some amazing polishes that are just perfect for the summer. Some of which I can see myself wearing throughout the seasons. The polishes I received are part of their 16' Neon Pop! and Rockin’ the Red, White & Blue. Plus their 2-in-1 Base/Top Coat, which I used in all of the swatches and designs. Now for the beauties:

Born Pretty Store: Feather Charms Review

Hey, everyone! It's a feathery day! Why?! Well my nails are all about the feathers...charms and decals. For today's post, I' was dying to find the right time to try out these adorable feather charms from Born Pretty Store. They have tons of amazing inexpensive nail art tools and accessories.
Especially, new arrivals every other week, which is exciting to look through! I love accenting my nails with nail charms and studs, no matter how cliche they get. I think it gives the nails a little oomph! Especially when you have no clue what nail design you want to do.

Happy 1 year Blogiversary!

Hey everyone!! Well today is a special day for my blog...it turns 1! I can't believe it has been a year since I started this blog. Although I feel like I have been talking to myself (I think I'm not the only one out who thinks this way...haha), I really love and enjoy writing, and showcasing my nail art for everyone to see.
Its the main reason why I continue! It has become more of a diary for me... well more like and non-private diary, for everyone else to read and see photos of my art work. Nonetheless I hope to continue to see how far I can go and the progress I've made. I still can't believe my nails lately, I still can't believe I even created most.
In light of this special day I recreated my birthday nails I did last year. It wasn't for my blog, but I though it would fit the theme. For the design, I applied two coats of OPI Solitaire, a perfect liquid sand polish. For the candles and balloon, I freehand using a nail art brush-- with OPI Neon Revolution collection.

I then added a few flames using the same OPI Neon Revolution colors. Lastly, I sealed the candles and balloons with H K Girl Top Coat, that's it! This has been an exciting year, and can't wait to see what more will come in the future! Thank you so much for all of those who has commented and followed me over the year, I truly appreciate your support! Stay tune for some more nails, and for my 1st possibly giveaway! ;D

Hope all of you enjoyed my post today!
What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below!

Bright Florals Nails

Hey Everyone!! Happy Monday! For today's post I have a really cute nail art for you guys. On my last post I swatched Essie's Neon Collection, and I absolutely loved the colors on the collection. As I was browsing online I saw this really cute jumper dress with similar colors I wanted to use.
It such a perfect design for the summer! Bright, fun and tropical! The colors were so vibrant and further added my nail art inspiration. And how can you resist a floral design, I know I couldn't! :D

Essie Too Taboo Neon Collection 2014 Swatches & Review

 **Purchased by Me**
Hey Everyone! I have for you swatches of Essie Too Taboo Neon 2014 Collection. It's probably too late to show these beauties, but I couldn't resist to post them up today. I love how vibrant and colorful they all look and I was seriously tempted on getting my hands on them. I try really hard not to get carried away by getting the rest of the colors on a collection.
But when it comes to nail polish or Essie I have a weakness, especially when looking at these vibrant colors. Although I can't count on the formula, they were definitely streaky. Like most neon's, I recommend the white base first. This way the colors can pop, especially with their jelly like consistency. And a top coat for that glossy look, without it, the polishes dries with a matted finish. Let's get to it:

Colorful Leopard Print Nails

Hi Guys! I have super bright and colorful nail art for today. It has been a long time since I've done leopard print nails. I was soo caught up on creating different nail art designs, I've completely forgot the very first design I created when I started this nail art journey. It's soo cold outside, I wanted to something that reminded me of the tropics. If you follow me on instagram, I posted the original photo of this design.
Although I loved how it looked before, I couldn't help to continually decorate it even more. I need to stop this habit of mine! Anywhoo, I was watching Pack a Punch Polish negative space leopard print, and I fell in love with her method. So I wanted to do something similar. I guess you can say it's loosely inspired. So lets get to it:

Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: W for Water Marble (Part 1)

Hi Guys! Put on some sunglasses on, it's going to get really bright in here...haha! Well more like neon bright. For today's post I have another Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: W for Water Marble. I have two parts in this challenge since (believe it or not) its my first time ever doing water marbling. I know!
I've never been interested in doing this method when I started my nail art journey. I always felt it was too much work and it is! However, it can definitely be addicting. Once you start it's as if the nail art gods are pressuring you to be perfect at it. And for sure I was tempted to perfect water marbling. So here it is:

Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: N for Notes

Hey Everyone! Well it's time for my next Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: N for Notes...well music notes in fact. I did something different and meaningful to me. For this theme I wanted to do music notes. One thing many people don't know about me, I play the piano.
I'm a little rusty after years of not playing or practicing, but I"m pretty good once I get the hang on it. I for one have been waiting for the right time to do these, so why not now. Looking at these really has me wanting to play again. Either way here they are:

Hey Everybody! Sorry for being M.I.A these past few days, been super busy and I was awaiting my new light-box, since the old one broke. Lately, I've been feeling uninspired, so @atxlacquerista on instagram developed an Alphabet Nail Art Challenge.
I love challenges, it give you ideas and help you think, but importantly it really helps improve your nail art. I probably won't be doing a post everyday, but sure am going to try! (^_-)
