LVX Summer '15 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi, everyone! Happy Sunday! It such a beautiful day out, and I can't help show off one of my, new favorite summer shades Damask, today. Part of a new-to-me brand called LVX, for today's I have their new summer '15 collection. 

Produced in the USA, they have a nice selection of cremes and most of all unique colors. The collection is made up of six beautiful creme shades that give you that summery island feel. These polishes have a chip resistant, 5-free, vegan, and cruelty-free (more info here). 

I was very impressed with their formula and application, which is very important to me. I even loved their package that is super classy and elegant (pictured below). So let's check out the beauties:

Damask- is  a vibrant and beautiful tangerine creme, and a favorite of mine (did I mention that!?). The perfect summer shade! The formula on this polish is exceptionally good. I had no problems with streaking or staining at all. This is two coat sealed with top coat. 

Currant- is a gorgeous deep purple creme. The formula on this polish is amazing and applied smoothly on the nails. This is two coats sealed with top coat.

Shiraz- is a another beautiful berry/violet purple creme. The formula was perfection and was super easy to apply. This is two coats sealed with top coat.

For this look, I wanted to combine the top three colors and add a fun stamping design to it. I love how these came out. The color combination is just perfect. The stamping plate I used is from Born Pretty Store (the floral stamping plate I reviewed here). I then sealed the design with Essie Matte About You.

Paraiso- what a perfect name for this shade! It is a beautiful sky blue creme, and another favorite of mine.  The formula on this polish is amazing and applied smoothly on the nails. I had no problem with streaking or staining at all. This is two coats, sealed with top coat. 

Avenal- is a another beautiful pastel or mint green creme. It is so fresh and another favorite for the summer. The formula was perfection and was super easy to apply. This is two coats sealed with top coat.

Caicos- is a gorgeous soft/vibrant light blue creme. I love this shade! The formula was perfection and was super easy to apply. I had no problem with streaking or staining at all. This is two coats, sealed with top coat. 

Getting ready for back-to-school?! Although I've seen lots of back to school nails, as a teacher I can only think about one thing...apples! Lots and lots of apples! Which is exactly I created using Caicos, as the perfect base. I then sealed the design with Essie Matte About You.

Overall I am very impressed with LVX polishes and their unique colors. Their formula requires minimal coats which makes the application easier and fast drying time. You can purchase on their website here for $16.00 each.   Be sure to follow for more updates and photos here:
