Hey everyone! It's almost summer and I just can't wait to showcase these gorgeous shades from Cirque Colors
x Nordstrom collaboration. Nordstrom was soo impressed with the outcome of their polishes, from their last pop-in, they've asked Annie for another set for Poolside Pop-In.
The collection consist of 2 exclusive shimmers, 3 cremes and 1 pop of glitter topper. This collection is very unique and perfect to have, not only because it's limited edition, nonetheless, it was curated by Olivia Kim for Nordstrom (which you can purchase online and selected stores). So let's get to it:
Rita (LE)- a tomato red creme. Which is one of my favorite shades on the collection, even perfect for the summer. The formula on this polish is amazing and applied smoothly on the nails. This is two coats sealed with top coat.
For this look, I pretty much channeled my inner
Decorated Digits. She has the coolest and the most unique set of designs. So I wanted to created something similar she makes by using
Rita and Summer Soiree.
For this look, I decided to add some red palm tree and thought it would be perfect to seal it with a matted top coat.
Cabana Capri (LE)- a cyan blue holographic shimmers throughout the polish. I absolutely love this shade and wore three times. It looks amazing under the sunlight, truly a must-have! The formula (again) is amazing and completely smooth on application. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
Julep (LE)- a mint green holographic shimmers throughout the polish. This is such a beautiful color and one that needs to be seen in person. The formula on this polish was amazing and applied smoothly. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
For this look I created a gradient look, and since this is a collection based on the pool/beach theme. I wanted to create a water like gradient, and accented with some starfish and seashell studs.
Santorini (LE)- a medium cobalt blue creme, and my top favorite on this collection (see a pattern lol). This is one I found most difficult to photograph (surprisingly). It is super bright and very blue (if that makes sense). The formula on this polish, of course, was amazing and smooth on application. This is two coats, sealed with top coat.
For this look, I can honestly say is one of those designs I've had on my to-do list. This design I created on a whim two years ago, and never managed to create it until now. The base was the perfect shade to use and loved how these came out!
I can not tell you just how much I loved this collection. Cirque's polish formula I live up to that expectation. The Poolside Collection is a limited edition collection, so if you see
something you like, get it before it sells out.
