Hey guys! I am so excited for today post! I know I say this all the time, but it is for real! I finally did my very first Besties Twin Nails with my good friend Judy from @judyrox. She has been so nice with on my first Mani Swap, we thought why not do a Besties Twin nails together.
So here it is! I can't honestly explain how the heck I did these. I was pretty much jaw dropped that I could accomplish this! Haha! We were both inspired by this adorable owl print I saw on Society 6.Since the the owl had a Native American theme, we decided to add tribal accents on the other nails, inspired by the colors of the owl.
For the base, I used two coat of NYC Colors Sidewalker. Once the polish was completely dry, with a nail art brush, I freehand the owl with white acrylic paint. Adding smaller details with Julep Teri and Sally Hansen Lightening.
For the tribal's, I used the same colors as the owl. I wanted it to look like an ombre effect. Yellow for the forefinger, using Sally Hansen Lightening. Pinkish shade for the middle finger, using Julep Teri. Now for the pinky, which is a lighter pink, I mixed OPI Alpine Snow and Julep Teri together, to create the lighter shade.
