Hi guys! I'm so thrilled to show you guys some uniquely nail art design, I thought up one night. Normally, I love to browse online and get some wonderful ideas; from patterns or any nail art I wanted to recreate. However, this one specifically was brought to me in a whim. I can honestly say, I can think about designs; which makes me wonder "how did I come up with that"!
Anyway, for todays post is pretty much exactly that. Don't ask me how I came up with this design! I believe it was a combination of few patterns I saw online, and placed them all together. Either way I completely loved and had some really cool reactions from friends and family! So let get to it:
For the base, I started off by applying two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. I'm in a serious need of purchasing more of this polish. I love it soo much, I pretty much used it for all of my nail designs. Can't seem to go for another white, but for this one! :? Now for the rest of the designs were pretty simple. Once the polish was completely dry, using a stripping brush, I drew stripes in three different colors.
Starting from the middle of the nails to the tip. I used (in order) Essie Good as Gold, Zoya Lo and Floss Gloss Black Holy. Once that was set, on top of Alpine Snow, I created the patterned look. Using a striping brush I painted a linear chevron, with Floss Gloss Black Holy. I then painted small triangles, with in the spaces. Lastly, I then sealed the design with Duri- Super Fast Dry Through Top Coat, that's it! ;D
Overall I really loved how these turned out. The color combination was my favorite; and of-course the pattern design. I had no idea what to call it so...patterned nails is what I came up with (lame I know). Any-who I've even create a tutorial (if you guys want) check it out here. Enjoy!
