Hi lovelies! Hope you all are doing well! For today's post I have for you another Alphabet Nail Art Challenge: V for Vintage. I was actually inspired by another lovely print from Cath Kidston. I know you've seen this pattern everywhere, especially, reacted on nails. But I couldn't help myself to do the same.
So I remembered seeing Alice from One Nail to Rule Them All now and then post, and tutorial and I completely knew I had use it for this challenge. It was super easy and simple to do. So let's get to it:
Since I was creating something floral and vintage altogether, I remembered purchasing a D.I.Y nail art kit in Forever 21 (not sure if they are selling it now) that was perfect to use for this design. So for the base, I applied two coats of
Turquoise on all the nails.
With a dotting tool I added the cloud shapes with White, using a dotting tool. Then with a nail art brush I drew the roses with Light Pink and highlighted it with Purple. Then I added the leaves using Green. I then added a few dots around the clouds with a small dotting tool.
Lastly, I sealed the designs with Duri- Super Fast Dry Through Top Coat and that's it! Overall I really loved how they came out. I will definitely be recreating these or another Cath Kidston design!
